Please note that all classes have been cancelled for the summer period, ready for a new season, and a “shuffle”, starting 4 September 2017.
17:00 to 17:45
Our Tiny Tigers and Little Dragons class is for our youngest students, ages 4, 5 and 6 year olds.
Here we focus on good manners, improving hand-eye coordination, balance, control, confidence, respect, self-discipline and working together. We also like to teach the importance of “Stranger Danger”, and what to do if a stranger attempts to make contact.
We usually touch on the very basics of self-defence and Kung Fu training, such as how to fall properly (breakfalls), how to stand in stance, the correct way to punch a focus mitt, and the difference between a front and side snap kick.
This is a mixed class of both Juniors and Seniors.
Our Juniors start from age 7, and focus on the fundamentals of self-defence and Kung Fu, whilst ensuring all students learn a high level of respect and self-discipline. There is a lot of team-building exercises, and Juniors are encouraged to work closely with the Seniors in the class, to help them work well with all ages.
Our Seniors usually start from the age of 16, however some Seniors may be younger at the discretion of Master Ai Aimi. In the past, we have had some younger people be treated as a Senior student, due to their height. Senior students focus on self-defence, Kung Fu, forms and weapons studies; whilst increasing fitness and endurance levels.
Costs: £5 per student, per class
This is an adults only class, for ages 15 plus.
It is fast-paced, focused and fitness based. Self-defence, Kung Fu, weapons, Chi and more.
Costs: £5.00 (all students)
If you are an adult attending our mixed Juniors and Seniors class, you can take advantage of training in the adults only class, immediately after the family class for just £2.50 extra. That’s both classes for only £7.50!
Once again, classes in the above format will return on Monday 4 September 2017. In the meantime, if you require any further details, please do not hesitate in contacting us in the usual ways.
